Author shares account of overcoming real-life challenges, awakening your ‘Iron Spirit’
Press Release: Gogo Sof releases new book, ‘The Iron Spirit’
SINGAPORE – During uncertain times in any part of the world, author Gogo Sof enters the literary scene with her newly-released book, The Iron Spirit (published by Partridge Singapore), August 5, 2016.
During uncertain times in many parts of the world, author Gogo Sof notes that people live and work in an uncertain world where everything can change in an instant. Gogo Sof exposes challenges in life: from physical to career and family to self-worth and faith. She shares her personal account of simple solutions to problems and issues that often held her back or weighed her down, as well as intimate challenges many people would not be open enough to disclose.
Despite the challenges, the world of sports – from running to swimming to cycling and triathlon – offers her the gift she longs for: a story that moves her forward as it reveals the truth about human life. These experiences moulded “The Iron Spirit.”
“Although I may not be an Olympian athlete or sportsman, I am an overcomer of various challenges in life,” she says. “You cannot see it, doesn’t mean it is not there. It is just not there now. It is all about finding that sense of purpose in ourselves, putting all the distractions behind, and staying completely focused in life.” This reinforces Gogo Sof’s commitment to helping students, youths, friends and even adults to love and believe in themselves. This helps them manage their stresses and contribute to the communities by embarking on their personal or group projects with deep lasting impact.
“The Iron Spirit within us is what awakens us, moves us forward and creates an extraordinary life no matter how dark the world becomes.”
